I wanted to show you how I do my hair so I did a video on it.
For my curly hair I only use my favourite products, Macadamia Natural Oil – Healing Oil Treatment and Nourishing Leave-in Cream and the Frederic Fekkai – Summer Hair. The entire line by Macadamia Natural Oil is perfect for my hair, I need only a little of the shampoo and conditioner and my curls are defined and curly but not frizzy. The Fekkai Summer Hair I only use on extremely humid days to make it look more polished. But doing this and only this is all I need. When I don’t use the Macadamia Natural Oil products I need a lot more and my hair gets either frizzy or fluffy or the curls are flat or I look like Diana Ross. Especially when I wash my hair more (when I go running), I need the care of these oils. When I use the MaroccanOil products my hair look frizzy and flat and horrible. So if that doesn’t work for you either or if you’ve got hair like mine and you feel like only wearing it in a ponytail because you don’t know what to do with it. I bought the Neutrogena Deep Clean cleansing wipes on my holiday in the UK. I love these, they take of all the makeup and leave no oily film. It even took off waterproof makeup so if you’re searching for makeup wipes and you can find these, these are the ones I love.
The night care I’ve been using pre-flight and ever since I got back is the Weleda – Rosa Mosqueta – Vitalising Face Oil pearls. I started using these before the flight to ensure that even the one hour flight wouldn’t dry out my skin. Since I got back I’ve been loving this as well because this dry oil soaks in pretty quickly and my skin feels super soft the next day.
On my nails I’m wearing:
* Sally Hanson – Salon Effects in 340 Girl Flower (day 14). I LOVE these Salon Effects nail products, they stay on through everything. I’ve been changing my room and cleaning and I’ve played with my nephew and I’ve taken baths and showers and it stays put. Really great for people who are hard on their nails and especially great for special occasions like weddings or a honeymoon when you don’t want to think about your nailpolish chipping.
On my face:
* Estee Lauder – DayWear Sheer Tint Release Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant moisturizer (SPF 15). This gives a little tint to the face but will not put a foundation like mask to it. It’s like a pre-BB cream BB cream only without the primer in it. I will freak out if Estee Lauder ever stops making this.
* Urban Decay – Eyeshadow Primer Potion (original). In summer this is the only thing that can make my eyemakeup stay on the entire day.
* Laura Mercier Undercover Pot (no. 3). A perfect concealer because it blends into the skin but will hide the blemish. (Not waterproof)
